How will it work…
We will do it all for you! Simply complete your payment mandate which will follow by email in the next few days and start lessons in your current class from Monday the 17th of April 2023.
You can move class at any time. If your circumstances change and you need or want to move class, please email us. admin@makewavesswimschool.co.uk.
When your child is ready to move up to the next level, our Swim School Supervisor’s will approach you with new class options.
We have provided three payment options. Simply select the option that works best for you and see reception or complete your payment mandate when you receive your email as appropriate.
Frequently Asked Questions
What about bank holidays? We will run lessons as normal on most bank holidays. However we will close four four weeks every year; 1 week at Easter, 1 week preceding the new school year and 2 weeks at Christmas. This will start from the 17th of April, 2023, after these coming Easter holidays.
How will the DD work for the months where there are breaks? The direct debit is calculated as follows; lesson price, multiplied by the number of lessons per year, divided by the number of direct debit payments per year. This means that the DD price will remain the same every month as the breaks are dispersed throughout the year’s payments.
Will I still receive Journey Reports on my child’s progress? Yes, we will send journey reports every 6 months or sooner if your child is ready to pass their level. You may also request a Journey Report at any time.
Will I still get FREE Soft Play? Yes, you will still receive FREE soft play during off peak times (weekdays during term time), but you will now also have the added bonus of being able to attend the session before or after your lesson during school holidays if the session/s are not fully booked.
We’ve booked a summer holiday, we will miss lessons. We will allow two make up lessons per year for such situations to be used during the school holidays, subject to availability.
What happens if I miss more than two lessons in a year? If you are going to miss a lesson and you have used your two make ups already, please email admin@makewavesswimschool.co.uk with a request to see if you qualify for exceptional circumstances. If granted, we will book a make up lesson for you immediately after your return.
Will you still offer crash courses during the school holidays? Yes, we will offer crash courses during the breaks from swimming. We may also offer some during school holidays when lessons are still on if we have the pool space and teachers available.
What if I don’t want to pay by Direct Debit? We will still accept payments via BACS and over the counter at reception for quarterly payments. Please contact Leah acsmakewaves@gmail.com to discuss in further detail if desired.
What do I do if I need to cancel my child’s swimming lesson? If you are unable to continue prioritising your swimming lessons, you may cancel at any time with a minimum of two weeks written notice – please see our terms and conditions below.
Monthly – £44.70 per month (34 lessons in 2023 x £13.15 per lesson / 10 months of payments). You will be sent a link shortly to set this up. *DD amount will be recalculated from 1st January for 2024 to reflect 48 swimming weeks over a 12 month period. Quarterly – £157.80 per quarter (48 lessons per year x £13.15 per lesson / 4 quarters per year). Please email admin@makewavesswimschool.co.uk to let us know if this is your preference. Annually – £447.10 for the remainder of 2023. Pay by BACS on or before the 8th of March, 2023 and pay only £400.00, SAVE £47.10!
Monthly – £40.90 per month (34 lessons in 2023 x £12.05 per lesson / 10 months of payments). You will be sent a link shortly to set this up. *DD amount will be recalculated from 1st January, 2024 to reflect 48 swimming weeks over a 12 month period. Quarterly – £144.60 per quarter (48 lessons per year x £12.05 per lesson / 4 quarters per year). Please email admin@makewavesswimschool.co.uk to let us know if this is your preference. Skills and Drills, Water Polo. £7.15 (inc VAT).
Monthly – £24.30 per month (34 lessons in 2023 x £7.15 per lesson / 10 months of payments). You will be sent a link shortly to set this up. *DD amount will be recalculated from 1st January, 2024 to reflect 48 swimming weeks over a 12 month period. Quarterly – £85.80 per quarter (48 lessons per year x £7.15 per lesson / 4 quarters per year). Please email admin@makewavesswimschool.co.uk to let us know if this is your preference. Annually – £243.10 for the remainder of 2023. Pay by BACS on or before the 5th of March, 2023 and pay only £220.00, SAVE £23.10! Private lessons.
